Birth Year Beginnings' mission is to provide experienced, informed, and compassionate support for childbearing families in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

Childbirth is the first thing a mother and her child will actively do together. After all these months of being as one, the separation occurs and beautiful people are born: a baby, a mother, a father, a family. All new.

A woman’s childbirth experience teaches her about herself and her community. When she is vulnerable, she can also be her most powerful. She discovers her body and her spirit can do much more than she imagined.

In the tangle of options and opinions, the right support and education can make the difference between a defeated entry into motherhood (or motherhood again) and a confident, bolstered beginning. Accessing both one’s own intuition and evidence-based information are key components to a fruitful beginning. The birth year is ripe with beginnings.
